KPMG and Forbes Insights recently issued "Audit 2025: The Future is Now", a survey of C-suite and other financial executives. This report shows that the vast majority of respondents believe auditors should use bigger samples and more sophisticated technologies for data gathering and analysis. Most significantly, those surveyed say the audit should help identify risks, present a forward-looking view of data and provide greater transparency.
