Although uncertainty and change are hallmarks of the landscape in which companies operate today, many CEOs see this disruption as an opportunity and they are challenging themselves to disrupt and grow their organization.

This is a principal theme we distilled from our recent survey of nearly 1,300 CEOs in 10 of the world’s largest economies. As part of our third annual KPMG Global CEO Outlook, we set out to take the pulse of the senior executives of some of the largest corporations to gauge their outlook on a range of topics including the economy, their industry and organization as well as their own roles.

The report emphasizes that disruption has become a fact of life for CEOs and their businesses as they respond to heightened uncertainty. But importantly, most see disruption as an opportunity to transform their business model, develop new products and services and reshape their business so it is even more successful than it has been in the past.
